PlotONE LLC ("PlotONE," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the PlotONE platform and related services (the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Name, email address, and password
  • Company or property name (for Property and Agency accounts)
  • Billing information processed by our payment provider (we do not store raw card data)
  • Profile information you voluntarily provide

Connected Platform Data

When you connect your Instagram, TikTok, or other social media accounts via OAuth, we collect data made available through those platforms' APIs, including:

  • Profile information (username, follower count, profile picture)
  • Content metadata (posts, reels, stories, videos)
  • Performance metrics (impressions, reach, engagement, saves, comments)
  • Audience demographic data where available

We only access the permissions you explicitly grant. You can revoke platform access at any time through your account settings or through the third-party platform.

Campaign & Usage Data

  • Campaign briefs, goals, deliverables, and performance reports
  • Content submitted through the Service
  • Earned media value (EMV) calculations and analytics
  • Live shopping transaction data
  • Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps
  • Device information and usage patterns

Communications

If you contact us for support or other inquiries, we retain those communications to resolve your request and improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Process subscriptions, billing, and live shopping transactions
  • Calculate and display campaign analytics and EMV reports
  • Enable collaboration between Properties, Agencies, and Creators
  • Send transactional emails (receipts, account alerts, campaign updates)
  • Send product updates and marketing communications (you may opt out at any time)
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Improve and develop the Service through aggregate, anonymized analysis

3. How We Share Your Information

With Other Users

When a Creator participates in a campaign, the sponsoring Property or Agency can view that Creator's campaign performance data, submitted content, and engagement metrics within the scope of the campaign. Creator profile data (username, follower counts) may be visible to Properties and Agencies browsing the platform.

Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Service, including cloud infrastructure, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics providers. These vendors are contractually obligated to use your data only as directed by us and in accordance with this policy.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.

No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Campaign data and analytics are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months to enable historical reporting. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 6). Some data may be retained longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), secure credential storage, and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@plotone.app.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Access & Portability

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by contacting us at hello@plotone.app.

Correction

You may update or correct your account information at any time through your account settings.

Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to retention obligations described in Section 4.

Marketing Opt-Out

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or by updating your notification preferences in account settings.

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). 7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at hello@plotone.app and we will promptly delete it.

8. Third-Party Links & Integrations

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use in connection with PlotONE.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service before the changes take effect. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
